It’s been a few days since my last hospital visit and I’m rattling from all the nicely packaged pills I’m popping daily 🙂
I’ve reduced the Prednisolone down to five tablets daily now, but the hospital topped that up with eight Pentasa, six Butylbromide and two Adcal calcium/vitamin D3 tablets.
These will be backed up (Pun Intended) with the Prednisolone butt plugs when I pluck up the courage to start stuffing those up my fart shoot morning and night again, and those will be followed with an ongoing course of Salofalk butt plugs 😦
Improvements from all the meds?
None really, in fact I’m all to often getting woke up through the night with gripping pain that seems to run the length of my guts, even up to my throat, and boy oh boy are these ‘attacks’ painful!
The blood keeps flowing from my bumhole when I poop and the pain in my groin is constant, so much so that I’ve actually got used to it and largely ignore it now! Amazing how our bodies adapt (or our minds?)
Not sure if this new pain is just side effects from the meds or something new, just to keep me on my toes and keep things interesting!
I’ve just had a new GI appointment through for early April and I’m trying to hold on until then to talk to the consultant about it, but over the last few days the pain has been worse at night so a call to my IBD nurse is looking likely. Hate bothering them to be honest, but hey ho they’ve got to know!
More later, take care folks 🙂
